Gennaro’s Focaccia!. Hello all of you lovely peoples of Youtube. Today I'm a going to show you how to make my lovely Rolled Focaccia. Tons of beautiful flavour, basil, ricotta.
I meet up with with Donal Skehan and shows how to make a lovely mixed focaccia in exchange for a lesson in soda bread. This is a paid AD by Hotpoint. Whenever Jamie makes any bread, particularly Focaccia, it reminds him of getting to know his 'London Dad' Gennaro Contaldo. You can cook Gennaro’s Focaccia! using 7 ingredients and 12 steps. Here is how you achieve it.
Ingredients of Gennaro’s Focaccia!
- It's 500 g of all purpose flour.
- Prepare 7 g of yeast mixed with.
- Prepare 325 ml of Lukewarm water.
- It's of Salt.
- It's of Extra virgin Olive Oil.
- It's of Polenta.
- It's of Toppings.

Gennaro’s Focaccia! instructions
- Addd the lukewarm water to the yeast and mix.
- In an there bowl, add a punch of salt and a some olive oil.
- Add the yest and water to the flour and mix until it forms a sticky dough.
- Knead for 10 mins.
- Prove under a bowl for 40 mins.
- Put Polenta onto the bottom of your dish and place the dough on top.
- Push your fingertips down onto the dough and splash on olive oil.
- Then add your toppings. I’m using olives, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic oli oil, basil and extra virgin Olive oil.
- Put a warm wet towel over the top and leave for 45 mins to double in size..
- Add a sprinkle of Salt and put in the oven for 35 mins at 200c or until the top is golden Brown.
- Remove from tray, add olive oil on top and leave to cool for 10 mins..
- Enjoy!.
If you cut the squares in half, you can fill with prosciutto or cheese for a different sandwich. Gennaro, get your, get your one, mate. I hope you enjoyed that lovely focaccia recipe.
