Recipe: Appetizing Extra cheesy mac and cheese

Extra cheesy mac and cheese. The first of many homemade mac and cheese mukbangs to come! Since we're all self-quarantining here in the States, I decided to use all the cheeses I had in. The best baked mac and cheese is incredibly cheesy, with plenty of gooeyness, cheesy stretch, and flavor.

Extra cheesy mac and cheese You want the top to be light brown and crispy around the edges. I don't think mac and cheese can get more creamy, cheesy or delicious than this! You have probably made macaroni and cheese from a boxed mix before. You can have Extra cheesy mac and cheese using 8 ingredients and 9 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Extra cheesy mac and cheese

  1. You need 1 box of pasta of choice I used medium shells.
  2. You need 2 1/4 cup of mild cheddar cheese.
  3. Prepare 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  4. Prepare 1 cup of milk I use 2%.
  5. Prepare 1 of black pepper to taste.
  6. You need 1 of light adobo to taste.
  7. You need 2 tbsp of butter or margarine.
  8. Prepare 2 tbsp of flour.

But did you ever think that it wasn't cheesy enough or just tasted too plain when you followed the instructions on the box?. I was surprised at how great this was!! I am always looking for a great mac and cheese recipe, usually do Martha Stewart's. Sharp Cheddar and Parmesan cheese combine for this extra creamy mac 'n' cheese recipe.



Extra cheesy mac and cheese step by step

  1. Cook pasta as directed by your box. Drain amd set aside..
  2. In a large skillet or medium sauce pan melt butter on medium heat..
  3. Once completely melted add flour and whisk together. Wisk continuously until slightly browned..
  4. Wisk in milk a 1/4 cup at a time making sure all lumps are gone before adding more..
  5. Now add 2 cups of cheddar a hand full at a time wisk in continuously..
  6. Once cheddar is fully melted add your mozzarella cheese the same way you did the cheddar..
  7. Season cheese sauce with black pepper and adobo to your liking..
  8. Pour you pasta into baking dish I used a 9x11 pan and pour your cheese sauce over top. Mix well so all pasta is coated..
  9. Sprinkle remain cheddar on top and bake at 350 for 20 minutes until additional cheese is melted..

This is a nice rich mac and cheese. Serve with a salad for a great meatless dinner. This baked mac and cheese is a family favorite recipe, loved by both children and adults. My version uses a combination of cheeses for a gloriously cheesy dish! This creamy mac and cheese definitely doesn't come from a box!
